Shalva Alkhanaidze, a shepherd from the village of Dano (Tusheti), changed his profession and took up photography. He made pictures of his countrymen at work and at feast, religious holidays, the Tusheti views. The negatives are kept in Tbilisi with Zviad Alkhanaidze.
